Luminous Tour 2023-2024 Policy + Procedure

LUMINOUS STAFF

All Luminous Tour Staff members must agree and abide by an Employment Code of Conduct. In addition, they must attend a 12 hour training hosted by the Dance Education Equity Association.

DANCE EQUITY ASSOCIATION (DEEA) PARTNERSHIP

Luminous Tour is proud to be a DEEA Certified Dance Convention! All staff members have completed their signature 12-hour BE COURAGEOUS training where we have worked with their team to develop policy, procedures, and accountability practices threaded in anti-racism, anti-othering, and anti-abuse to build dance spaces for all. In addition, the DEEA holds us accountable year long, provides resources, and offers a tip line to all staff, students, and convention participants who may experience harm.

DEEA TIP LINE 

The DEEA tip line is a place for folks, in the educational dance community, to report any personal experience of racism, othering, or physical/sexual/emotional abuse. Their team of mental health professionals will follow up with your report in the manner in which you request. See the tip line HERE if you would like to make a report.
